started using McQuaig personality profiling as part of
our recruitment process a couple of years ago. We have
found it an invaluable tool when we recruit staff into
all areas of the business. Like many businesses we
found that the traditional methods of the interview,
reference check & looking at past experience were
not in themselves giving us the reliable results we
needed to consistently make the right hires. With the
aid of McQuaig profiling, we have been given another
dimension to assess candidates, and the result has

Over the past 12 months Waratah NZ Limited has been
recruiting for a number of positions, and in the current
market with skill shortages in the areas we have been
recruiting, we have found the McQuaig Word Survey, the
McQuaig Occupational Test and the McQuaig Job Survey to
be extremely valuable tools in finding the right people
for our positions. The Job Survey provides the "ideal"
profile to fit the position that is vacant; the Word
Survey provides us with the profile of the people we
interview and (very helpfully) gives coaching tips and
